CLASSES:
~ I am currently
offering two types of classes: lampwork (bead-making) and beadwork
(jewelry-making).
~
The classes are held in my studio in Mission, British Columbia, Canada.

Lampwork
(Bead-making)

I
offer lampworking classes at my studio, including:
-
Classes are
usually
3
hours long, and
are
focussed on developing specific
glasswork
techniques. You
will make between 5-7 beads during the class.

The HotHead propane torch
is used for all class levels, although a Nortel Minor set up is
available for those who are familiar with working on a dual-fuel torch.

All
materials
(glass, frit, gas, tools, foil)
used
during the class
are included in the cost.
Beginner
kits are available for purchase after the class. Safety/setup
instructions are critical to this artform, and therefore gladly offered.

Classes are
private individual instruction only,
arranged by appointment.

Beadwork (Jewelry-making)

I
offer various jewelry-making classes at my studio, including:

bead
weaving
(various stitches such as brick stitch, peyote stitch, freeform, square
stitch, etc.),
-
wire-work,
-
bead
knotting, and
-
bead stringing.

I can
accommodate all skill levels,
from beginner to advanced.
Classes are either project-focussed or technique-focussed,
and are chosen based on student interest.

Classes
are organized for a maximum of 4 people.
-
All
materials (excluding tools)
for the project are included,
and prices range
between $45.00
US.and
$65.00
US.
per class
per person.

Classes
are arranged by
appointment, and usually last from 2 to 3 hours.
